Locally Sourced and Seasoned Firewood
At Groundhog Property, we only offer seasoned firewood that is locally cut, seasoned, and split in Southern Maine. We believe in providing the highest quality firewood to our customers, which is why we take the time to properly season our wood. Our seasoned firewood is dried to a moisture content of 20% or less, making it easier to ignite and burn more efficiently. We are proud to offer a product that is both eco-friendly and cost-effective, as it burns cleaner and produces less creosote buildup in your chimney.

Ordering and Pricing
Ordering your seasoned firewood from Groundhog Property is easy. You can place your order online or give us a call to schedule your delivery. Our delivery area is within a 45-minute radius of Portland, and there is no additional cost for delivery in the greater Portland area. We also service the islands of Casco Bay, although additional transportation fees may apply.
Our seasoned firewood is priced at $385 per cord, and we typically sell out mid-fall, so we recommend ordering early to ensure you have enough wood for the winter months. When you place your order online, we will send you a confirmation email to let you know that we have received your order.
Firewood Delivery
At Groundhog Property, we understand that prompt delivery is essential when it comes to keeping your home warm during the cold winter months. That’s why we offer a delivery time within seven days of placing your order. We also offer stacking services for an additional fee, although please note that stacking services are not available at this time.
